What is it about? Of course, since the series is already 17 seasons long, a lot is happening. But the beginning looks like this: The story is told by five young interns at Seattle Grace Hospital in Seattle. The main character and namesake of the series is Meredith Gray, who along with her colleagues (Christina, Izzie, George and Alex) want to become a surgeon. You will learn a lot about life as an assistant doctor and of course you will also get a good portion of drama (and it won’t be boring either, believe us).

What is it about? It’s about the nephrologist (a kidney specialist) and diagnostician Dr. Gregory House. He usually looks for the right diagnosis for a person who is critically ill and often gets into arguments with other doctors. But that’s largely because Dr. House is very headstrong and regularly ignores hospital rules. So if you’re looking for a medical series with a lot of humor and a strong main character, “Dr. House” is the right choice.

What is it about? The focus of the series is the surgeon Dr. Shaun Murphy. He works at San Jose St. Bonaventure Hospital and is not only different from his colleagues in age, as Shaun is autistic. Because of his insular talent, he is a surgical genius but struggles with social interactions. “The Good Doctor” brings you an absolutely lovable main character and a mix of humor and drama.

What is it about? You see the doctors’ everyday work in an understaffed and overwhelmed emergency room in Los Angeles.
